☆ I’ve been in the furry fandom since 2015, though in recent years I haven’t engaged with the fandom as much as I used to, especially after leaving mainstream social media platforms. I’d say that I participate in the fandom from a distance: I like furry content, creators, cons etc, I just find it hard to do the social part- commissioning art, talking to people. I don’t have any friends in the fandom either, so I guess that also adds to the feeling of distant participation. Regardless, I’m a proud furry! :3 Also, both of my fursonas are undercover sparkledogs, so do with that information what you will >:3c

☆ I can’t talk about reptiles without thanking Snake Discovery for familiarising me with them. I like herpetological morphology because (at least to me) it is very clear and easy to see visually. I don’t find genetics hard and there is something very satisfying about phenotypic expression of genes in reptiles. I don’t like amphibians as much as I like reptiles. My top 3 snakes (in no specific order) have to be the western hognose snake, the reticulated python and the Saharan horned viper. I like lizards, geckos, and larger reptiles too. I am not as keen on turtles.

☆ I have been fascinated by ants for my whole life. I would really love to keep pet ants, but I don’t think I would be able to manage a growing ant colony (or feeding them roaches, I am really scared of roaches.) Ants are one of the most successful animals on the planet and are also one of the most diverse between species. I am interested in different ant species, their behaviour and their inter-species symbiotic relationships. Honeypot ants make me deeply uncomfortable. My top 3 ant species are Asian marauder ants, Yellow crazy ants and Trapjaw ants.

☆ I wish I was joking but I decided to look into homestuck JUST BEFORE the resurgence of the fandom and the vivziepop drop… I remember seeing the fandom in its peak and over the years and always putting it in the back of my head to investigate it, then when I finished it vivzie dropped the trailer. Chat is this a bad omen or what?? Anyway I LOVEEEEE homestuck !!! I’m rereading it at the moment :3 I’m not so big on the fandom but that’s mainly because none of my friends are in the fandom, and the age demographic skews kinda young nowadays (tbh when the fandom was in its peak they were all children too.) I’d prefer to yap to people my age about homestuck, so all my friends are cursed with listening to me yap about homestuck forever!!! Mwahahaha >:3c

☆ I play yugioh non-competitively! I don’t find joy in playing meta decks either :P I’m not an old-school yugioh fan either, I just enjoy playing/playing against rogue, lesser used and uncommon decks! I particularly enjoy pure decks, it’s very visually satisfying in my opinion. Another stipulation I have when playing a deck is that it absolutely must be cute. I refuse to play decks that aren’t cute. The decks I currently own are: Pure Melffy, Melffy Tri-Brigade, Madolche (unfinished) and Traptrix. You could technically call Traptrix meta as it’s relatively new and very powerful, but the reason I like it is because it operates completely differently to current meta decks, it’s like a rogue meta deck x3 it’s very unique. Also the girls are super cute, AND it’s nature themed :3c

☆ Recently I've been watching a lot of equestrian videos on youtube, I know absolutely nothing about horses and horseriding x3 I find them both interesting and slightly formidable animals, and they're really cute! I've been enjoying Matt Harnacke's vlogs, especially the ones he did in Finland.
