My all time fav band is My Chemical Romance!! and uh I also like J-pop stuff and heavy metal stuff (SOAD comes to mind) and Vocaloid and video game music and indie (ily Mitski <3) and just some plain pop stuff like Chappell Roan X3 (and MCR-esque rock bands ofc)

I don't watch many movies. I really like comedy specials though. Most of the long form content I watch, however, are YouTube video essays. :P |

Television |
My all-time favorite show is Revolutionary Girl Utena! I also really enjoy Trigun (+ Stampede), Serial Experiments Lain, and Evangelion. Basically, shows that have really hidden and convoluted meanings, symbolisms, and storylines.

Books |
Aside from manga, I enjoy reading classic lit! My favorite books are gut-wrenching dystopias, like 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451. Idk... just something about the sudden feeling of doom and anxiety upon realizing how messed up and hopeless the world is is just so hooking! (I say that but the real world kinda is turning into its own dystopia so maybe my outlook will change soon...) |
