Music

I enjoy Baroque and Jazz music along with the music of composers from the Romantic period. My favorite non Baroque and non Romantic composer would be Dimitri Shostakovich. In addition, I enjoy J-Pop and J-Rock as well. City Pop and Bossa Nova are also pretty good. I would recommend the group Shibayan Records if you enjoy Bossa Nova/Touhou music in general.

Movies

LOTR(Lord of the Rings) Trilogy I recommend this. It’s good.

Television

Stein’s Gate, Lain, Initial D, Code Geass, and Violet Evergarden are all good shows.

Books

I like Carl Schmitt’s work. Two notable examples include the books “Concept of the Political” and “Political Theology” I would also recommend Sorel if you are interested in syndicalism. “Reflections on Violence” is a good place to start when reading Sorel. For philosophy I like Plato, Giovanni Gentile, and Vico. The Philosophy of Marx is great book from Gentile in my opinion. I recommend this specific book for those have an interest in idealism, marxism, and dialectal materialism. My current interest is in the writings of Meister Eckhart. Everyone should be reading the complete Catholic Bible and the works of the Church fathers regarding religion/theology btw.
