Tenshi

General

I'm into political theory, anime, manga, futurism, j-fashion, touhou, taisho literature, and linux. My favorite brands at the moment are HIDOLATRAL THEODOL and Amavel. In general, I like lolita, gyaru, cyber, tenshi kaiwai, and otome. The Y2K revival and coquette are also kinda interesting. With linux, I really love Slackware.

Music

Hanuman/Buzz Mothers (really just Ryoichi Yamada) is the best thing ever but I also really love Inabakumori. I regularly listen to Soutaiseiriron, Astrophysics, tricot, Wowaka, Yuyoyuppe, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, Shibayan Records, and Harufuri but I like a lot of bossa nova, nu-disco, math rock, city pop, and j-rock in general.

Movies

I really like Ghost in the Shell but I don't really watch movies in general because I'm not too fond of the format. It just usually feels like an awkward length to me, despite being about the same as a seasonal anime.

Television

My favourite animes are probably garupan and Lain. I'm only watching Train to the End of the World this season, my favourite character is Akira. Mostly because she has such based tastes but she's so cute. Anchovy is all-time best girl.

Books

Best manga of all time would've been Tokyo Revengers if not for that awful ending. Instead I'll say the best are Bungo Stray Dogs, Jigokuraku, and maybe Hunter x Hunter. I really liked Ayashimon before it was cancelled but halfway through they ruined the premise. My favourite author is probably Edogawa Ranpo but I also really like Akutagawa. I've been meaning to read more Mishima lately and to finish Triumph of Death (would really make a good anime btw) but haven't gotten around to it. In general, I'm more into short stories. Despera was amazing, I really hope the anime comes out eventually. Parole in liberte blurs the line between visual art and poetry so I think a futurist manga would be really interesting.

Heroes

I'm just gonna continue on about books here because I don't really have any heroes. I haven't read enough poetry to have a favourite author though. I really should read more philosophy and political theory, I never feel like I have enough time and mostly restrict myself to rambling on about my more Lain-inspired theories on the internet, but from my much too limited reading, my favourite book in either category is probably Genesis and Structure of Society at the moment. I was meaning to read a book after seeing a very interesting excerpt but it seems I've forgotten both its name and that of its author so I suppose that's on hold. Otherwise, next on my list is Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, and a recap of Plato.
