General

In general, I really love art especially photography, dancing, and writing. Music is a huge part of my life too. I play instruments like the violin and the flute, and I used to play the guitar as well. I also enjoy drawing, even though I’m just starting to get back into it and rediscover my love for it.

Music

I literally listen to all kinds of music. I’ve gone through many phases in my life, and each one has helped me discover new artists and genres. I’m still constantly exploring and finding new sounds, but these are the genres I love the most: Boleros — I love boleros with my whole heart. It’s a genre that deeply moves me and means a lot to me. Conscious rap — I don’t think I need to explain much here. I love meaningful lyrics, music with a message and real depth. Nu metal — I discovered it at a very young age and grew a strong attachment to the genre. Regional Mexican music — I grew up listening to it. Movies

I’m not really a big movie person. I only watch films when they genuinely catch my attention, but when they do, they usually leave a mark. Some of my favorites are: White Nights, Carol, Pearl, Girl, Interrupted, Lolita (I have to admit it kind of traumatized me), Perras, Perfume de Violetas, Ya No Estoy Aquí, Lords of Chaos, F1 Movie, K-12, Chicuarotes, Cosas Imposibles,

Television

I don’t really watch television anymore, but when I was younger I watched a lot of it. Some of my favorite shows growing up were: Malcolm in the Middle, Max & Ruby, 31 Minutos, El Chavo del 8, La Familia P. Luche, SpongeBob SquarePants, Charlie and Lola, Sarah & Duck, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, Pucca, Masha and the Bear, The Penguins of Madagascar, Wonder Pets, Team Umizoomi.

Books

I’m still figuring out what kind of books I truly enjoy reading is a habit I’ve only recently picked up. these are my favorite books so far: Crime and Punishment, The Death of Ivan Ilyich, The Girl Next Door, The Analects of Confucius, The Queen of Spades.

Heroes

I have three heroes, even though none of them wear capes: my mom, Canserbero, and Checo Pérez. These three people saved me at the right moment. I don’t even know the last two personally, but all three share something in common even though their paths and careers are completely different, they never gave up, and they became my biggest motivation to keep going.
