the creator of it is slightly problematic in the thinking a 16 year old character was hot and certain bigotry but we dont at all care about that guy, andrew hussie has just kinda been voted out by the fandom and we all just kinda chill but other then that, in the comic itself its just kinda dark humor thats not that big of a deal, it has a lot of slurs that slowly stop being used in the comic, theres some sterotypes and lots of abelism but its all in a bad light and most of all it has lesbians so its okay/j, its a really good read and the fandom right now is full of great people and its real chill rn. id 100% reccomend it as it has really changed life for me, but oh my god DO NOT READ THE EPILOGUES!!! THAT SHITS WEIRD!!!!!! (epilogues and beyond canon are kinda like offical fanfiction that kinda ruins the story so just dont worry about that). mostly the only reason why people say not to read homestuck is because of the rep of the fandom back in the early days being like real toxic and cringe. its chill now and the stuff itself aint that bad in any way, we chillin. god i ramble so much, if you got any questions i am NOT afraid of being a keyboard warrior
