General

nature is really my thing, specifically birds, so feel free to chat to me about it. beyond that, i am interested in most things, and i am always happy to learn more. not sure where else to put this cause its a podcast, but i love love love the magnus archives- its sooo good, and i highly encourage everyone to listen to it (i'm very normal about it i promise)

Music

i am especially into 80s new wave/post-punk stuff and 90s alt rock stuff, although jazz, funk and folk music do hold a special place in my heart. i also play music! i play the trumpet and also the guitar

Movies

For movies, i love older 80s and 90s stuff: my favourites include the breakfast club and the lost boys. it's hard to a pick a favourite, but i'd say my favourite film is probably baby driver - it has a fantastic soundtrack.

Television

i've recently been obsessed with arcane - i'm still not over the season two finale 3 (jayvik my beloved). my all-time favourite and long-running hyperfixation is interview with a vampire - i cannot stress enough what a masterpiece it is, and honestly you should just go watch it right now

Books

i will pretty much read anything, although my favourite genres are definitely fantasy or sci-fi. i'd say that my favourite book (at least for fantasy!) has to be six of crows (i'm a sucker for a found family trope, and it has great representation!) i'm also on a bit of a maurauders kick rn - we are NOT gonna discuss how much time i spend on ao3 (its fine im very normal about those tragic gay men)
