About me:

Hey, I’m Mun — like Moon, just spelled wrong, but pronounced the same. I’m 20, and I’ve been wanting to start a blog on SpaceHey for ages, but I never really had the energy or motivation until now.

 I like admitting that I’m kinda weird and that I usually don’t fit in that well. That’s basically why I’m here. Art, in general, is what defines me.

Music is a huge part of my life. I’ve been obsessed with it for as long as I can remember, and honestly, I love that about myself. It’s always been there, even in the most overwhelming times, and even when my home didn’t feel like a safe place. 

There’s more info on the side, but even though I like tons of music, I’m kinda fixated on these genres: 

Darkwave / Gothic Rock Shoegaze / Dream Pop Trip-Hop / Electronica Alternative / Indie Rock Punk / Post-Punk Grunge / Alternative Metal

Back in the day, My Chemical Romance was my absolute favorite band for YEARS, and they’ll always have a place in my heart. I’ll probably get a tattoo of them one day. 

Like I said, art defines me, and it’s not just music. I used to draw every day, all the time. I stopped, and honestly, I can’t even remember why. I just know I did it, and I wasn’t half bad. I still care about it, but I don’t feel ready to pick up a pencil again — kinda scared I won’t be able to do what I used to. 

I don’t dream the same way anymore. Something I’ve never been able to quit, even if I’m not amazing at it, is writing. I’ve never been super great at social stuff, and whenever I needed to really express myself or open up, I’d write. One of my love languages is letters — if you ever got one from me, you’re lucky, ‘cause I only write when I really think about someone. 

I love writing, but I also love reading. I’ve always been into long novels that completely consume me for hours or even days, but I’m also a nerd for physics, philosophy, and astronomy books. Yeah, a little geeky. When I was a kid, I read tons of Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe — got that from my mom. Probably why my brain’s a little twisted. 

I’m not against poetry either, but honestly, you have to be as dramatic and weird as Pizarnik to get me hooked. 

Another thing I’ve been obsessed with since forever is video games. The deep story ones, not the shallow repetitive stuff. Yeah, kinda ironic since I play LoL, but it’s true. I love Silent Hill, especially the second one — gorgeous story, but full of trauma. I mention it because it’s well-known and it kinda sums up my style. Imagine that typical nerd obsessed with Undertale easter eggs? That’s me. I also can’t stop obsessing over good game soundtracks. Akira Yamaoka is just magic. 

Basically, I’m drawn to anything that makes me overthink or question life. The rest isn’t boring, per se, it just doesn’t have that vibe.

Who I'd like to meet:

I’d like to meet people who are a little weird, curious, and creative. People who love music, books, or games that make you think, feel, or overanalyze life a little. I’m into long conversations, even if they’re online, and I really enjoy chatting about random stuff that actually matters to someone. If you like staying up late, listening to music that hits you deep, or just overthinking the universe, we’ll probably get along. Also, bonus points if you get excited about tiny details in games, movies, or books — the little things that most people ignore. And if you enjoy writing, reading, or just sharing your weird thoughts, that’s even better. Basically, I’m looking for people who get that being a little “extra” isn’t a bad thing, and that real connections don’t have to be perfect or normal.
