Harry poner and the Philosophers Stone is written by the famous british authour J.K Rowling. She's best known as the creator of The Harry Potter series. The Potter books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, and sold more than 400 million copies

The story is about a young boy, who doesn't know that he's a wizard. He lives at his aunt and uncle, because both of his parents are dead. One day he gets taken away to Hogwarts wizad school. As the weeks pass, Harry and his friends finds out that Voldemort is trying to get the Philosoper's Stone. The whole plot is about Harry and his friends trying to stop Voldemort from getting the Stone and kill Harry.

The main character in this story is Harry Potter who is the hero of the story. He is gradually transformed from a timid weakling to a powerful hero by the end. His sudden fame as a wizard at Hogwarts is totally the oppsite to his earlier forgotten misery. It's a total contrast. Before he had to spend his life with his mean aunt and uncle, the Dursleys.

Harry's friend; Ron Weasley is a boy who comes from an poor wizard family. He's Harry's first friend at Hogwarts, and they become close friends. Hermione becomes friend with Harry later in the story,

The theme in this story is friendship in my opinion. Harry lives his life without any friends, It is difficult, and he constantly hopes that it will change by some magical miracle. And it does. On the train to bogwarts Ron walks into Harry's room and starts sharing their stories, their family problems and eventually candy. Harry realizes the importance of friends and wants to help them no matter the cost. Which we can see when he chases after Neville's Remembrall after Draco Malfoy stole it.

Also, in the end of the story when Ron sacrifices himself in order to allow his friends to continue to the next chamber, rendering him unconscious other Themes in this story can be Hopes and Desires and Good vs. Evil

The scene where Harry sees the snake trapped behind the glass at the zoo, be begins to communicate with it. He understands and knows how it feels to be held captured in a home that isn't his own. He hopes for a home of his own, he hopes to be rescued and taken away from the Dursleys. I think this scene shows one of Harry's desires.

I think J.K. Rowling wrote this book because she wanted something different, and far away

from reality. I think Harry Potter is one of the world's greatest books Rowling takes you in tea

fantasy world full of suprises and excitement. Insure les not the only one who thinks that. The

language isn't very difficult, and it's easy and simple to understand. I would reccomending

even to adults. If you decide to read it, I hope you will find it as good as I did^-^
