When your favorite music said MilkCan, I felt that spiritually. Also Electric Six. I'm trying so hard years later to still get people to listen to them. Yooo another electric six fan let’s go! They’re criminally underrated for how many bangers they have I kid you not, many years ago when I still worked at Taco Bell we were closing up for the night. At like 3am'ish, we're walking out and I here Synthesizer start playing over the lobby speakers through the radio service we had. No one understood why I was like "DUDE THIS FUCKING SONG LET'S GO." Just the most deep cut choice that could have been chosen for that time of late night/early morning and that restaurant chain. That’s sick man. Synthesizer is one of my favorites. Something kinda similar happened to me at like a bootleg macys type of store. Through the shitty department store speakers I could hear dance pattern playing and was like OH OH OH I KNOW THIS ONE OH MY GOD!!! Man, now I gotta go and just listen to more of their stuff. I'm guilty of not listening past Switzerland, because I know they have been and still are active. I do think it's excessive that we now have like 5 re-releases of Gay Bay though lol. ooooo if you havent listened past Switzerland i would recommend listening to Flashy and Heartbeats and Brainwaves. Probably my two favorites besides Fire! Heartbeats and Brainwaves is a little different from the rest of their stuff tho, its a lot more electronic than rock, but i like it lol To be fair, he did warn us that we wouldn't be able to ignore his techno. |
