About me:
I love to play video games and collect merchandise of my favourite franchises. I enjoy collecting from many franchises, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Super Mario and Pokémon!! I have always been drawn to plushes more than any other type of merch so I prioritize them, but I really love collecting figures, badges, straps, keychains and acrylic stands as well!!
In terms of gaming, I love both modern and retro games! I mainly play Nintendo but dabble into some other stuff occasionally, and online browser games. I play all Nintendo consoles, from NES to Switch but my favourites are the 3DS, GameCube, Switch, DS and Wii! I care a lot about keeping legacy systems alive, and I'm into 3DS and Wii modding along with emulation handhelds. I hope to own a Wii U soon as I played it a lot growing up! I am always down if you want someone to play games with!! I am really sad over the 3DS/Wii U online servers, but I'm following the Pretendo project and hope the servers can be kept open by community support! I am a bit of an old soul and really value the history and the days of the past, especially in regards to games. I want to keep that feeling of whimsy and excitement with me no matter where I am in life, and keeping close to my happiest memories of gaming helps me do that!!
Sonic the Hedgehog is my #1 favourite character of all time!! He has been my favourite since I was 6 years old and watched Sonic X along with playing my first ever video game, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I absolutely love everything about him with all of my being, everytime I think about him my heart feels so warm and fuzzy and he is my happiness. He's the love of my life and I cannot even put into words how much I adore him!! ( ◜‿◝ )♡
My other favourite characters of all time are the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie from Splatoon! I have loved them dearly ever since they were first shown off in 2015, and they are incredibly special to me. I have identified as Callie for as long as I've known about her since I super relate to her and Marie is a huge comfort character of mine! I try to collect ANYTHING I can of them since they don't have as much official merchandise, I do have LOTS of fan-merch of them though!! I love them with my whole heart!! ˊᗜˋ ♡
I am a fictkin of Callie Cuttlefish and Amy Rose!! Please DNI if you kin them :) I also kin as Rosie and Isabelle from Animal Crossing, among plenty of other characters.
