No way! I hope you enjoy when you can get one. I didn't get a smartphone until 2014 and was hesitant because of how addicted I saw everyone else around me was. I got got, too, but it's also about self-discipline. With temptation within an arm's reach, it's difficult to break the habit so flip phone it is. :) Thanks for the add by the way!

Yes, absolutely! Me too. I'm looking at a Nokia. It'll still have internet capabilities but simplified. $20 for a phone anymore is very affordable.

Aww so you didn't get to experience full profile customization? I was there from '04 - '11 regularly, and then just used it for music after that periodically. Time moves so quickly that it's taken me a few times to really figure out when it was exactly that I "left"

Mentally I'm still there, sort of. I didn't like Facebook. I never wanted a smartphone, and didn't get one until 2014. Now I'll be going back to a flip phone and I know I'm going to love it.

Thanks so much! And thank you for the request. I agree. I'm hoping they can find a way to incorporate the classic media player, and set things up for local bands again - without turning it into a quick cash hog. I miss MySpace for the simplicity of the music and the social aspect. Spotify and YouTube are awesome for discovering music, but the space isn't really there currently for them to be socially-based platforms. MySpace meshed social media with entertainment while giving us our own spaces, and forums to discuss heavier topics instead of disagreements about politics and religion with friends and family suddenly bleeding onto our pages.

You're welcome. Don't worry, An, the creator of the site (he's in your friends), isn't about money at all, so that's why it's free do donate and become a 'Supporter' of the site. I've been on here almost since the site began almost three years ago now, so I'm very familiar with how he operates. There is not one ad on Spacehey. And there are forums on here to discuss whatever you want; there is a 'Forum' link at the top of each page of the site. Trust me, you'll really like it here.

This is definitely refreshing. MySpace days had some ads, but nothing in comparison to now. I've browsed the forums a little and have seen actual conversations, which is awesome! The cultural shift in social media makes me scratch my head in a way that's asking, "What happened?" I hadn't pictured us evolving to the point of Idiocracy, but we're pretty much there. All I can do is laugh, and now that I've found this community I hope it sticks around for a while at least.
