Why Striga?

I chose Striga because she breaks the mold of traditional vampire portrayals. She is more than a predator—she’s a Promethean figure, forging a path forward for her kind not through bloodlust, but through discipline and vision. She represents transformation, reason, and love in a world ruled by chaos.

What is Castlevania?

*Castlevania* is a dark animated Netflix series based on the video game of the same name. It centers on the war between humans and vampires after Dracula declares vengeance on humanity. The show explores moral ambiguity, love, betrayal, and what it means to be a monster. Striga’s arc reflects the Promethean theme of evolving past monstrous nature and forging a new future.
