John Price and BIG MAN TIDDLES ------------------ "I wonder if every day will just be the same as always..." Hoshino Ichika (星乃 一歌) is a second-year student at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy. She's the guitarist of Leo/need. Ichika is childhood friends with her fellow band members. "Leo/need's vocalist and guitarist. Seems aloof at first glance, but is friendly and caring when you get to know her. She's known Saki, Honami, and Shiho since they were little, but a certain event drove a wedge between them. Ichika loves listening to Miku songs." Ever since she was a little child, she loved Hatsune Miku. Ichika would often sing Miku's songs while playing on the guitar she got from her father. Although she seems stoic at first, Ichika is a kind and caring girl who is always thinking about her friends. According to Honami, she can't always communicate or express herself well. She enjoys listening to Hatsune Miku songs and taking care of cacti. --------------- "You can't live life in fear of being hurt." Mochizuki Honami (望月 穂波 Mochizuki Honami) is a second-year student at Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy. She's the drummer of Leo/need. Honami is childhood friends with her fellow band members. "Leo/need's drummer. She excels in both sports and schoolwork and has a kind and caring personality. Honami has been friends with her band members since childhood, but drifted apart from them during junior high school. Honami is a smart, kind and athletic honor student who excels at both academics and sports. Wanting to fullfil her values of kindness and help other people she treats everyone justly, patiently, kindly and nicely, always caring and helping people around her. This can be seen as she tries to help her bandmates whenever she can such as bringing homemade snacks over to Saki or caring for Kanade not only out of her obligation as her housekeeper but out to genuine care. She does this because she knows how hard it is for people if there’s nobody to listen to their troubles. Before going to middle school she was kind but assertive and would call out people that were being mean as stated by Shiho. She often has her head in clouds, thinking about apple pie and her dream of kindness which however made her kindness misunderstood by her classmates. Honami treated both sides equally in an argument and tried to cheer them up and comfort them but because of this her classmates thought that she was a two faced, fake, disloyal and selfish person who only wants to get on everyone’s good sides. Soon she was isolated, ignored and bullied by her classmates but when her childhood friends asked her what’s wrong she said that they shouldn’t worry and everything was fine since she doesn’t want that they get bullied too because of her. After overhearing her classmates talking badly about Ichika for being her friend she told Ichika not to talk to her anymore and isolated herself from her childhood friends. Honami then became a lonely, bullied outcast with nobody to talk to in middle school to the point she admitted to Kanade that she wants to disappear. Due to this traumatic experience her personality drastically changed. She became very indecisive and unable to express her emotions because she fears that other people wouldn’t like her for them. She also lost her previous ideals of kindness and concept of friendship as she only nods and agrees with everything anyone says just to not upset them and be bullied again like in middle school. This is also the reason why she and her childhood friends drifted apart since she actively avoids everyone outside her class so that other people wouldn’t call her two faced and disloyal again. It’s also shown that she doesn’t trust anymore and Shiho pointed out how obvious it is that Honami believes that her classmates and current friends would turn on her given half a chance. After revealing her true feelings to her childhood friends, making up with them and forming Leo/Need she decides to try and express her true feelings more often. In her first focus event “Don’t let your doubts set you back” she meets MEIKO in her Sekai who teaches and mentors her that there’s more than one form of the kindness Honami wants and that kindness also needs courage to stand up for oneself which gave her the courage to speak up and overcome her doubts that her middle school trauma gave her. During her second focus event “Putting feelings into Words” she slowly became more assertive acted upon her own values and opinions and directly confronted Shiho when she believed that she was wrong, not giving in until Shiho agreed to not do everything alone and get help and support from her bandmates. In “Little Bravers” she considered her goals and plans for Leo/Need’s future such as everyone’s dreams about the band so she stood up against Shindo from a record label and convinced him to keep Leo/Need’s desired concept. Impressed by her strong will, Shindo made Honami the leader of Leo/Need in “The Courage to Lead, the Kindness in my Heart”. Honami has a great interest in astronomy as she teaches her childhood friends how to stargaze and has a great knowledge about constellations and loves to eat apple pies, often buying a comical amount of them. She also has a skill of planning ahead and organizing which can seen in Leo/Need focus events in when she plans most of the band’s future events and takes care of scheduling the group’s activities to increase their productivity and efficiency, while helping them whenever they need it. Saki once jokingly called her Leo/Need’s mother in the “Resonance Beats” virtual live show. ----------------> "This world isn't one where you can treat life as one big picnic." ―Shinonome Akito (Original) Shinonome Akito (東雲 彰人) is a second-year student at Kamiyama High School. He's part of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD. "Akito was inspired to get into music by An's dad. Together with Toya, he sings at event houses under the name as "BAD DOGS". He seems like a gentle-mannered boy, but there's also another side to his personality." Akito has been a street musician since middle school. He looks up to Shiraishi An's father, who was a street musician as well. His interest in street music was first inspired by when he was in elementary school and Ena took him to see the summer festival. This interest became a passion when he saw RAD WEEKEND. Together with Toya, he sings at event houses under the name as "BAD DOGS". While this is not as common following the formation of Vivid Bad Squad, sometimes he and Toya will still perform together without An and Kohane, mostly if the two girls are unavailable. Akito, when first meeting a person, acts polite and respectful. However, when he is close to a person or music is involved in the conversation, he drops the act and shows his actual personality. He is hot-blooded, passionate, and gruff. He is very determined about his goals. He dislikes people who are half-hearted and dispassionate about what they like, and respects anyone who is truly passionate about what they enjoy. While Akito may act rude towards his friends, this does not reflect how he truly feels. Deep down, he strongly cares about the people surrounding him. This is shown in a lot of places, including his affection towards Toya (depicted in his Waiting for That Day to Come card), how he does care about Ena (shown in multiple places, including throughout the Ringing Sounds at the Summer Festival event), and how he does not actually hate Tsukasa and Rui. (a few examples are shown in the The Gentleman Thief's Thrilling White Day!? and At This Festival Tinged With Twilight events, respectively.) Akito struggles with his insecurities. He often feels inferior to his group members, and to compensate, he overworks himself. If no one is there to stop him, he will often practice his singing until he either loses his voice or collapses from exhaustion, neglecting his needs in the process.
