It's not much, but this is my budget setup for gaming at 1080p xD

In fact, I don’t like any music streaming service. When I decided to try Spotify, I ended up more stressed than satisfied: I couldn’t find much of the music I already had on my smartphone in .mp3 files.

That’s why I’ve always preferred digital files. Over a year ago, I bought a portable music player on AliExpress, installed Rockbox on it, and filled it with nearly a thousand songs I’ve collected throughout the years.

I really doubt I’ll ever switch to streaming services. On the contrary, not long ago I started a new adventure: hunting for music on CDs, whether in second-hand markets or in the few record stores that still survive in my city. And honestly, I found a special joy in having my favorite music in physical format :)

Another one of my hobbies is experimenting with GNU/Linux. Currently, these two computers make up my small homelab.

It’s a second-hand mini PC running Debian 12, and I can access it from outside my home with the help of a self-hosted VPN. It has been especially useful as an NVR for my home security cameras and as an IRC client :). Some of the services it currently runs are:

• Navidrome
• qBitTorrent
• Thelounge
• Slskd
• Other personal projects

Currently, I don’t use it much. It’s a PC built with old parts from my main computer. It also runs Debian 12, and its only use right now is storing data on its hard drives. Maybe in the future I’ll get more hard drives and turn it into a full NAS.
