ohh lordy first off i am super jealous of anyone with physicals - even with the hardcover physicals releasing this year i'm personally still going to look for the old trimax volumes, the covers themselves justify it enough lol.

also without going too into depth about tristamp, i would say to treat it as its own separate media only because of the different story continuities and the complete tone shift :p so personally its suuuper hard to recommend one over the other, though if you want something with a serious storyline then i'd suggest tristamp while i would consider '98 to be closer to a personal comfort watch. both i definitely recommend to any trigun fan regardless! they have their own strengths and weaknesses for sure lol

oh god yeah, my mind is just on hidden inventory since the trailer came out a few days ago. good lord shibuya is going to kill me - i was in such physical shock when reading it that i had to actually re-read it to understand wtf happened. not fun

No, I totally get it! I'm very excited to see hidden inventory fully animated and like?? it's the largest turning point of the story which means we will be seeing SO much emotional discourse, i hope we get the small little shoko and geto moments especially as now in the manga she's been pointing out that she was there while all of this happened - not that we'd get /that/ animated any time soon but I love the complex aspect of it all. LITERALLY I willingly tried not to process it, also thinking back on the teaser art :') we'll be able to better directly see the comparison between the current generation and the past
