Truant Kids's Blurbs
About me:
Truant Kids is a Kansas-based indie songwriting duo comprised of childhood friends Walter Sunrise and Nile Rivers, recently joined by drummer Owen Ashley. Formed in 2021, their music focuses on experimentation through a multitude of styles. The first significant effort by the group was the eclectic self-titled album "Truant Kids" released on the 28th of October 2022, which was supplemented by remixes and outtakes (Giving Up EP) the following year. After a brief hiatus, Truant Kids returned with new single "Tears and Cigarettes" on August 4th 2023, the lead single to our new album "Heart" released on Dec 1st 2023!
