General

this stuff is gonna be hard as i forget everything i enjoy if its not in my immediate line of sight.

nevermind i looked to my left and all my dnd stuff was there my memory issues go unpunished. i have a big ole bag of dice with POCKETS (!!!) that i use to sort based on size. heresy, i know, but ive been relegated to being the forever dm, so the numbers matter more than the sets atp (but if anyone wants to dm for me im very much open!! i have a character ive been dying to play!!)

also, while i say i enjoy video games, i almost exclusively play cozy games, which would have incels everywhere foaming at the mouth to tell me how im "nOt a ReAl GaMeR". i don't care, stardew valley is fun.

Music

according to... stats.fm i listen to a lot of hard rock and metal music, but im almost 100% sure that as of right now, about 90% is because all my brain will let me listen to is ghost. i dont know how this happened! i went to my first ritual a month ago, and suddenly ive been consumed!

i already liked them, even, but it's like going to the ritual genuinely changed my brain chemistry. my autism was activated. i dont understand.

Movies

again, im relying on something else. im taking to letterboxd to give you my fave movies here guys. my letterboxd top four (not in order): Whiplash, Us, Into the Spiderverse, and Across the Spiderverse (yes, both of them, fuck you)

the only movies ive given 5 stars are The Suicide Squad, Promising Young Woman, Whiplash, Us, Knives Out, Into the Spiderverse, Across the Spiderverse, and Barbie (and sky high, but that's for a bit that i did for a tweet that got maybe two likes)

Television

the BIG one here is supernatural. i am drawn to it like a pirate to the call of the siren, and when i hear its call i will dash myself to bits upon the rocks. its terrible. its amazing. its the worst show on television, but its also incredible.

always sunny, as well. that all started because i watched community and wanted to see more of danny pudi, and so i watched mythic quest and loved it, and then i decided to watch sunny. so i blame community really.

succession is another biggie. what can i say, i love deeply troubled people who refuse to communicate with each other properly.

speaking of, i just recently watched what we do in the shadows and am now killing myself over the intricacies of the tragic queer romance in the shit and farts show yet again! love it for me :)

theres more that im not getting into here, but those are sort of the heavy hitters. but be aware that there ARE more and i AM NOT capable of enjoying things normally.

Books

percy jackson had me in a chokehold all throughout middle school and now that there's going to be a show i am back in its clutches. i have actually become illiterate since, though, so if anybody wants to teach me how to read like that scene in beauty and the beast, please be my guest.

Heroes

my mommy ❤️ she is an incredible woman. she works full time, she's in school getting yet another degree (she earned her doctorate and immediately went back for another masters! no days off!), AND she's raised 4 kids and is helping raise her granddaughter. she's got so many plates spinning all the time, but somehow she's managed not to drop any. its crazy.

markiplier also. he's a huge inspiration to me as a filmmaker. if you look at the kind of shit he was doing when he first started vs what he's doing now, you can see how much he's grown and leared, and like. all of it is self-taught!! it's incredible! like, compare date with markiplier to in space with markiplier? that shit's crazy!! actually, i'm gonna expand this one because ive mentioned a few people on my page so far for whom thats a similar theme. like. charlie day? tobias forge? eric barone? all of these people have sort of similar stories creatively. small starts, huge today. there's a video of one of ghost's first gigs, i think in london, and it actually makes me wanna cry to watch that and then think about the ritual i was at. idk, is this anything?
