I'm Ainsley; I'm 27, and I use it/its and they/them pronouns. I'm a pretty big fan of writing, webcomics, anime, and games. I play a lot of Flight Rising, too. I use the blog function here to infodump about special interests, talk about books I'm reading/have read, talk about writing more in-depth, etc. I'm also married!!!

I write a lot--fanfiction and original fiction, though, only my fanfiction is published online. Maybe I'll link it here again some day!!! I love participating in writing challenges, and I love just... Writing. While I mostly write fiction, I do thoroughly enjoy writing essays analyzing media, or picking apart characters. Maybe I'll share some of these dissertations here one day, too. Mm. Maybe dissertation isn't the appropriate word, though, some of the ones I write can get rather lengthy! I also take requests for fanfiction--so long as it's in one of the fandoms that I'm in (and typically active for).

While I write a lot of fanfiction, and while I do also read a lot, I... Actually don't read any fanfiction. It's just a personal preference that's difficult to describe. I read a lot of light novels, manga, and a few modern authors here in there--aside from a tiny bit of classic literature. You can find a few of the series that I like on my sidebar. If you've got a recommendation, though, you should absolutely send it!! Though, again, I don't read fanfiction at all, so I won't be reading any fanfic recs.
I probably wouldn't call my blog particularly "interesting", it's mostly just me talking about Life Stuff and plans or infodumping about things? It's certainly interesting to me, or maybe people who share my interests, but the ones about me just talking about my day probably aren't too interesting. I think I like that format a bit more than bulletins, since there's a bit of permanency to it. Oh, I'll probably post a bit about Mabinogi on there.
I originally joined SpaceHey during the "Vent Shutdown" that... Ended up never happening. I really like it here, though. It's fun and quirky and nostalgic for a place that I never got to see when I was a kid/teenager. I was always too busy on Neopets to try MySpace.


All of this is sorta broken rn, I'm working on it, I promise! It's a pretty big work in progress right now, so! Thank you for your patience.
