What's an endogenic system?
An endogenic system is one that claims you can be a system and develop DID/OSDD without any childhood trauma. For those who don't know, DID/OSDD and it's variants are dissociative disorders devloped after severe and/or repetitive childhood trauma, usually before the age of 8 or 10-12 in rare cases. Saying you can be a system without any trauma is like saying you can have PTSD without trauma. Doesn't that sound silly? Now- if a system cannot remember any of their trauma, that is completely valid. Saying they do not have any childhood trauma whatsoever is not, and is extremely harmful to the community and research of systems. You're either a traumagenic system or you're not a system at all.

Why do you have "IRLs DNI" in your about me?
Let me start off by saying that IRLs are valid. Always have been and always will be. However, IRLs- people suffering with delusional misidentification- are, well.. just that- delusional- and I mean that in a factual way, not as an insult. While we would never reality check someone unless asked (it causes much more harm than good), we're also not going to encourage a psychotic delusion. To avoid that from happening, we think it'd just be better all together if we didn't interact with IRLs.
