THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT BLUE PERIOD!!!! i have caught up with the manga and i have to say the manga has a slightly slower pace than the anime and i feel like the anime was kind of rushed in some way. the animation has its own problems lol but in the manga faces do change their structure but not as obvious in the anime so i guess that is my only problem with the manga, i do like fast paced media though so i still enjoyed the anime :)

an anime being rushed is unfortunately a very common problem ;( they have to put a lot of content into a certain number of episodes. and tbh i would prefer the anime going faster, so it can cover more content - instead of having too-slow pacing, and not covering as much of the story!
the animation... has its problems... sometimes the facial expressions just look kind of funny tbh hahah. it'll be nice to see more time put into each panel in the manga. but the anime also has realllyyy cool looking scenes! i'm glad we at least get to see those scenes in color! becuz i personally feel like the b&w manga wouldn't have the same impact as scenes like this scene from ep4 where you have the color, the music, the voice acting
(i reallyy like the voice acting btw! it feels super natural and cozy idk. though maybe you imagined the characters having different voices, since you read the manga first??)
