**Dear Lain,**

I’ve been reflecting on our friendship and just how much you’ve truly impacted my life. There are so many things I want to thank you for, and I thought it would be best to take the time to put it all into words. From the first day we met, I felt an instant connection and knew that having you as a friend would be something special. I can honestly say that I am so grateful for you and everything you've brought into my life.

One of the first things that stands out to me is how you’ve opened my world to new ideas, interests, and experiences I never would have discovered on my own. I still think back to when you first introduced me to *Serial Experiments Lain*. I remember being a bit skeptical at first, but once I got into it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The way the show challenged my perceptions of reality, technology, and identity was mind-blowing. It felt like a whole new universe had opened up, and it was all thanks to you. I know I wouldn’t have had the same experience if you hadn’t shared it with me, and that’s just one of the many ways you’ve expanded my horizons.

Speaking of expanding horizons, I can’t forget to thank you for introducing me to the world of *Visual Kei*, and specifically, Kaya. Before I met you, I had no idea what I was missing. Kaya’s music, style, and unique presence have become a huge part of my life, and I owe that discovery entirely to you. It’s incredible how something as simple as sharing a song can lead to such a deep, lasting impact, and I’m so thankful that you opened my eyes to the beauty and complexity of Visual Kei.

And then there’s *Dandadan*. That manga has become one of my all-time favorites, and I never would have given it a second glance without your recommendation. The way it blends absurdity with genuine emotion, all while keeping me hooked with each chapter, is something I wouldn’t have expected from a series like it. I’m always in awe of how you seem to know exactly what I would love, and you’ve truly curated some of the best content I’ve ever consumed. It feels like every time you recommend something, I’m uncovering a new piece of art that speaks to me in a unique way.

But beyond all the new things you’ve introduced me to, it’s the way you’ve shown up for me as a friend that means the most. You’ve been there through so many moments in my life—whether they were filled with joy, confusion, or challenges—and I can’t express enough how much that has meant to me. You’ve always known how to lift me up when I’m feeling down, and how to keep me grounded when I need it. There’s something truly rare about a friend who can understand you without words, and you’ve done that time and time again. I am so incredibly thankful for your unwavering support and for the way you’ve always had my back.

What makes our friendship even more special is how we can have the most random, offbeat conversations and yet still feel so connected. The way we dive into deep topics or make each other laugh with the weirdest of jokes is something I’ll always cherish. I’m thankful for the lighthearted moments just as much as the serious ones. They balance out so perfectly, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
