IT IS AMAZING HOW STEALING A FEW MOMENTS TO YOURSELF CAN BE SO IMPORTANT TO YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. I ENJOY SEEING OTHERS, BUT THE EXPERIENCE STILL DRAINS MY ENERGY. IT'S DIFFICULT FOR OTHERS TO UNDERSTAND, AND TRYING TO EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS FOR INTROVERTS OFTEN OFFENDS EXTROVERTS AND LEAVES THEM FEELING DEFENSIVE.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN AND I'VE EXPERIENCED THAT MYSELF STAYING WITH FAMILY IN A SMALL CABIN THIS SUMMER. BEING AROUND THEM IS NICE BUT THEY'RE ALL LOUD, CHATTY EXTROVERTS WHO LOVE HAVING FRIENDS OVER AND SAID FRIENDS OFTEN TEND TO STICK AROUND FOR HOURS AND MOM PRETTY MUCH INSISTS ON ME HANGING AROUND AND BE "SOCIAL FOR A CHANGE" LOL SMH, WHICH LEAVES ME FEELING DRAINED WHEN THE GUESTS FINALLY DO LEAVE. NOW I'M BACK IN MY APARTMENT FOR A WEEK'S TIME BEFORE RETURNING TO THE CABIN ON FRIDAY WHERE WE'LL HAVE SOME FRIENDS FROM DENMARK OVER AND HOPEFULLY I CAN LEAVE AND TAKE THE TRAIN BACK TO THE CITY AFTER JUST A FEW DAYS. MEANWHILE, I'M NOW ENJOYING THE BLISS OF FINALLY BEING BY MYSELF IN MY APARTMENT AGAIN!
