i like to write even if i don't do it nearly as much as i want to :p a lot of my writing exists in half-baked story ideas that exist in my brain and the many drafts that litter my google docs and notes app. oh. and my ocs <333 most of them were made during my discord rp days, while the rest are for dnd! i love singing. 

i've been singing since like, forever and i loooooove karaoke. i was in a choir for a while and i've been in two mini-musicals. i am also technically in a band! i would love to duet with anyone so just hmu :D it's also been my lifelong dream to be in an acapella group like the barden bellas 

i am a beginner cosplayer!!!

i have a sort-of interest in fashion history and linguistics :p i'd love to discuss these with anyone

i am very interested in creepypastas + weird internet stuff like have you guys heard of kutchie's key lime pie

i listen to a little bit of everything but i do prefer older stuff (i am partial to modern pop tho). 

my top genres are alt-rock, classic rock, psychedelic rock, and indie

60s-80s: the west coast pop art experimental band, king crimson, cream, pink floyd, fleetwood mac, david bowie, queen, heart, deep purple, elton john, blondie, abba 

90s: the cardigans, mazzy star, the sundays, weezer, radiohead, air (LOVE LOVE LOVE their work for the virgin suicides soundtrack), eraserheads 🇵🇭, neutral milk hotel, grandaddy 

modern: sufjan stevens, i don't know how but they found me (a.k.a. my FAVORITE band of all time!!!), the brobecks, glass beach, dazey and the scouts, sir chloe, mitski, chappell roan, lil mariko, newjeans, charli xcx 

 i like tchaikovsky  

musicals ive seen and loved: heathers, my gateway musical i first watched in the 7th grade and then proceeded to be an annoying theater kid about <333, 35mm, specifically the ballad of sara berry and leave luanne, anastasia, legally blonde!!!!!, hamilton, six, and shrek the musical (ive actually seen this live haha) 

musicals i haven't fully seen but i know one or more songs from: ride the cyclone, waitress, beetlejuice, cabaret, the phantom of the opera, hadestown, WICKED (ive watched the films though)

Movies

i love pearl, x, and maxxxine (elite trilogy), the virgin suicides, and mustangs (2015) (criminally underrated).

best comfort movie oat is pitch perfect (1st movie is the best, argue with the wall)

i like chick flicks and cheesy romcoms. like mean girls, uptown girls, and 27 dresses

i like horror a lot, fuck with sinners HEAVY, and i loooove the knives out series. i adore scott pilgrim vs the world

i like disney movies but fuck disney truly.

also fw superhero movies in general. i loved superman

Television

ive watched the queen's gambit; it's really good and i love beth harmon she's my inspiration truly

my favorite series of all time has GOT to be the umbrella academy, holy shit i love seasons 1-2 so MUCH. it fell off afterwards. we shall not talk about the ending.

Books

i love reading guys :3 this section used to be hella long but i've cut it down for brevity. ish.

my top genre is probably fantasy with found family tropes. 

i don't support rowling and i haven't been a fan for a while now but the harry potter series does hold a special place in my heart because my mom introduced me to it and it's also the first book series i've ever read. besides that, i've thoroughly enjoyed the howl's moving castle trilogy by dianna wynne jones. i also really love and adore the miss peregrine and percy jackson series. i'm into fairytale retellings as well, such as ella enchanted 

i like femcel literature. sue me. i've read lolita, the bell jar, white oleander, my dark vanessa, fight club, and my all-time favorite—the virgin suicides. i've read another book by jeffrey eugenides, middlesex, which i highly recommend as it is such a beautiful read. i don't know which section it belongs to but i also enjoyed prep by curtis sittenfeld 

 i'm also very into historical fiction. some standouts are: the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, siren queen by nghi vo, and slammerkin by emma donoghue. i consider the latter two to be in my top 5. 

i like horror...i guess...mainly psychological and body horror....ive read a few stephen king books and a few short stories. i was really into r/nosleep for a while and i think the best nosleep series are the left/right game and spire in the woods. 

i alsolike sci fi i guess but i've only read like. one book (the all-tomorrows). the rest are short stories. like the jaunt and i have no mouth and i must scream
