General

my general interests include writing in my little book of tricks, watching myself smoke cigarettes, cafes full of elderly people, the bakerloo line, red stripe lager and menthol filters, stationary shops, late night kebabs, flavoured lip balm, minty chewing gum on cold foggy mornings, walking down high streets, broken old cars, sleeping at my desk, that one specific pillow on my bed thats perfect for hugging when i fall asleep, satya 'super hit' incense, the feeling of being in a car with the heating on full blast, mcdonalds hot chocolate, hugs from men (they hit different idk why might be my whole ' being queer ' thing), looking at the ceiling in churches, the smell of distant weed

Music

my mainstay is airy goth pop post-punk stuff but i love 70s reggae and ska, 60s psychedelic beat stuff, cool ladies with pianos (marina, bjork, KATE BUSHHH), and that specific genre of mid 2000s alt music that you'd hear in the soundtrack of a bbc 2000s teen drama where they all have spikey gelled hair and flip phones and there's a gritty filter over everything and people say stuff like "shagging" and "bare" (ironically i wrote that last part BEFORE i watched skins, would you believe it) edit: i found that genre of music, its called *new rave* if you had to make me pick some bands, i'd choose: the cure (who i saw live!! 11/12/22) siouxsie and the banshees joy div/new order sisters of mercy crystal castles (just alice glass) radiohead (im not an emotional manipulator tho im just depressed)

Movies

for movies i like weird horror like carrie (1976) or the shining (shelley duvall is the og), or cheesy indie coming of age stuff, or period stuff to fuel my rampant escapism

Television

for tv i like doctor who (especially the first season of the revival, jackie tyler <3), as well as gavin and stacey as that show is my favourite (so much so that i actually took the journey to barry island in wales), a cheeky bit of skins and my classic comfort show gilmore girls.

Books

former a level literature student, so i have currently gathered a hoarde of books, currently reading a few books on and off but my attention span is so poor i can't focus

Heroes

my heroes are david bowie, my nan, robert smith, and whoever invented the nitro flavour of monster energy
