About me:
Who I'd like to meet:
tree (an excerpt)
how can i say tree and be certain
you understand the tree iām speaking of,
when i fail nailing that tree down myself?
have i said elm: with its ability to swim against any wave?
or willow: so swift and able to bend with any wind?
or spruce: modestly said and fragrant in the cool evening air?
or giant redwood: above all others; cloud kisser and king?
do i mean a tree, green
in the dancing light of morning?
or brown, in the hollow sleep of winter?
the brittle ficus? the thin juniper?
and is that tree closer to sapling or floorboard?

Italy? Fantastic. I work deep in the Italian community where I live. I've spent some time in Venice (the Italians here say it's not really Italy..lol...so regional, they are) I loved it, but not during the cruise ship circus in the day....it's best experienced really late at night, trying to find your way back to the apartment after way too many grappa's at the bar. My companion needed to go to the bathroom, badly, and all I wanted to do was sing, listen to my clacky footsteps echo of the stone and laugh, with out end, that the apartment was always at the bridge we were not and we couldn't get to it. we could see it, but not get to it. be well.

Well, I'm not living that far from Venice (94 kms from there) and I can confirm you that it's another world over there. Basically because it's a city that lives with and for tourists. But it's so plenty of art and history wherever you go that you can't avoid falling in love with it!
If you and your companion love grappa, you absolutely have to visit our country and taste the one directly made on the territory xD
