I'm Martin but you can call me Marty ^__^ Ughhh, I miss Korean markets and Korean BBQ so much T___T I'm originally from Cali and was so spoiled being able to have that at my own convenience any time I wanted. They don't have any of that in the city I live in up in Washington state. LAME :( My day's been alright. Been a little hectic at work but being optimistic that the rest of my day ends on a high note! by It's-a me, MARTY-o!; ; Report Hey Marty! :) oh man, I can imagine what a transition coming from SD! That’s like, the best place to live since you have every culture’s food you can think of within a 5 mile radius! Haha I love SD. Hope that Spokane has been treating you well though! I tried living in Kirkland, couldn’t do it haha. Hope the rest of your shift ends smoothly and that you’re able to rest afterwards! by Kristin(e) Alaine; ; Report Oh yeah, it was a huge culture shock for me. LOL. I moved here right when Winter started and mind you, I have never driven in snow or been in snow besides going snowboarding a couple of times in Big Bear. Haha. But yeah, SD will always be home for me but I definitely don't miss the busyness, the overpopulation and the traffic. Haha. ALWAYS miss the food, that's for sure! What part of CA are you in if you don't mind me asking? And are you Filipina if you don't mind me asking that as well? :D I just know a lot of Filipinos who have gone back and forth living both in CA and WA since you mentioned that you used to live in Kirkland. Hahaha. Shift ended okay yesterday but didn't have much time to rest since I had my son yesterday right after work. Let's hope for some rest later today! ^__^ by It's-a me, MARTY-o!; ; Report |

It’s not often I see someone listing CCM among their favorite tunes :p Haha yes it’s quite a mix! :) Shifts back and forth since I was a part of the worship team for majority of my life. Would learn songs on the guitar in middle school for pop punk then ccm haha! by Kristin(e) Alaine; ; Report Nice! I went to church with my family as a kid but I was never really into it. I became born-again in 2005. Right around then I discovered CCM (Switchfoot, POD, and Reliant K really helped) plus Jeremy Camp. Take You Back is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. In my freshman year of college I did a term paper for my history class on the evolution of CCM. I think I ended up getting like a C- on it lol. Wow, POD and Jeremy Camp are amazing as well :) Glad you were able to make that life changing decision! Oh my goodness, how awesome that you even wrote your paper on it haha. Sorry it ended up being a C- though!
