Are you also a fan of Guillermo del toro? He directed and produced pacific rim and pans labrinth. He might have also written them? Not completely sure

honestly i loved shape of water. recently though hes been doing some pretty cool stuff. on netflix he has, and they're technically for like 10+ i guess, but its a show called troll hunters, with two spin off shows and then a movie that ties them all together for a finale.
if we're talking movies in general though, Avatar (james cameron) is definitely one my favorites. same with the fifth element, cry baby (w/ johnny depp, its so funny), and im not sure what else

omg i actually watched the first season of troll hunters years ago with my younger sibling, i remember being pleasantly surprised by it. maybe i should go back
and i've never seen cry baby but the other 2 are such good picks

cry baby is a really cheesy movie, fair warning. but its good. its making fun of all of the "greaser vs. soc" type of movies that were coming out at the time.
