Backroom Baby

General

Like most people on here, I've become burnt out with the modern state of the internet and technology. I'm trying my best to switch over to single purpose tech and long form content since I'm one of the many people afflicted by mental neurosis that make me susceptible to brainrot. I've got conflicting aesthetic interests, so my profile theme might change periodically. Right now it's got a pool room vibe because I feel a spiritual connection to the backrooms, especially the water levels. Don't ask me about "backrooms lore" tho, I think it's kinda silly that people tried to make it an scp thing.

I write fanfiction! Please don't read if you're under the age of 18, but if you *do* please don't tell me about it. I wanna write original novels one day, but so far Hazbin has got me in it's chokehold.

Music

Like most people, I have a disgustingly eclectic taste in music. Top five bands, in no particular order: Will Wood, Emilie Autumn, The Amazing Devil, Lemon Demon, Hozier. Runner ups include The Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer, The Birthday Massacre, Voltaire, and The Front Bottoms. I'm always finding new things!

Movies

Crimson Peak and The Shape Of Water tops the list by FAR, but I'll shill out for anything Guillermo Del Toro directs or produces. Other favorites include The Witch, Sweetheart, Kamikaze Girls, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Devil's Carnival, Renfield, Howl's Moving Castle, and Naussica of the Valley of the Wind
