As a fellow sadboi, and sometimes anggyboi guitarist, I've gotta asked the given question, what type of guitar/guitars do you play? 
i have 3 strats: a fender mia standard from the 90s (righty), a squier affinity (upside down righty), and a fender mim with maple fingerboard (lefty). i also have one blonde telecaster (righty), a really cheap squier jazz bass i got from a pawnshop, a fender precision bass from the 70s. i used to have amps too but now i just software cause i'm lame.

Nice nice. I've been diving into the software world a little more, but have been running a Orange rocker 15 with an 4x12 80s Carvin cab (celestion G12T 75s) or a Marshall DSL40 combo. Guitar wise I used almost exclusively different Schecter C-1s because they were fairly versatile, as long as they weren't rocking 81/85s (not that I dislike them, just not my go to pick ups), but I recent started getting back into more "traditional" guitars again. My 3 mains have been a Schecter PT Special (single coil and p90), Michael Kelly 53DB tele style (dual rockfield humbuckers) ,and a Schecter PT Sun Valley Shredder FR (EMG Retro Active Hot 70s). I was pleasantly surprised with the Sun Valley Shredder's EMGs because they respond alot more like a passive pickup and allowed me to keep some versatility in picking response and adjustment to the volume. Which is perfect since I've been slowly shifting away from playing straight up metal and shifting toward what I can only describe as Candy Rat Records inspired Easy-core/pop punk. Ha
I've been eyeing up a fender or squier strat for a minute, but in the mean time while I decide what to settle on, I may part out my old early 90s Peavey Raptor and shift it into something to close to what I'm after.
