my name is Tia (aka indica illusions) i've been a canna content creator for longer than the term has been used for. my cannabis journey started at the age of 15, I started posting in 2012/2013. I started consuming to help with my living situation and mental illness i had just recently been diagnosed with. I am diagnosed with bipolar, adhd, ptsd, ocd aswell as I struggle with anxiety and also some physical ailments. With the help of this magical plant, and creativity it helps give me is what has kept me alive for so many years. in 2015 is when my blog started gaining a lot of viewers and around that time I was feeling a lot more comfortable posting about it even though my home life consisted of constant harassment and abuse - it was the only way for me to cope was to use my cannabis and creating content has always been a way for me to feel free expressing myself. in 2019 I saw a ad posted on indeed for a position as a budtender for a upcoming dispensary (it was also the very first to open in my town) so I figured why not apply. shortly after the applying process I was asked for a interview and it went extremely well. I had mentioned my passion for knowledge to learn more about the plant, and my years off posting about it online. I worked as a budtender there for a little over a year and also helped create graphic designs and logos for them. Since then I have experience working for 3 dispensaries, and have had my license as a budtender in two different states. Currently i am still a legal registered budtender in M.E until end of January 2024. besides my passion for cannabis and experience in the industry, I also really enjoy photography, content creation, website developing, coding, writing, making music, art, and also am a huge animal lover and dog mom to a 13 year old min pin named Maximus (aka maximus prime) I started my discord server in 2019 and it's still going now in 2023 (almost 600 stoners joined now!) I started my podcast "Toketalks with Tia" in 2021 during a time in my life I had felt finally comfortable enough sharing my voice online and especially at times in a deep content rooted in my personal life. the podcast is a great mix of cannabis facts, talks about mental health, and things to get to know me better. it was never intended to be more than what it is - a safe place for me to speak and you listeners to listen if would like to! (there will be listed a schedule for upcoming episodes on the 'Toketalks' tab.) i also go live on twitch every sunday, thursday and tuesday.
