I don't read as much I used to, but I still enjoy my favorite author Normal Mailer. My favorite books of his are An American Dream, Advertisements for Myself, Why Are We in Vietnam?, Armies of the Night, and The Deer Park. I've also read the 48 Laws of Power numerous times in my life. |

hey there -- appreciate the friend request. i enjoyed reading through your profile, you have excellent taste in music and film! hope to see you around. Likewise impressed with your tastes, Marina (hence the friend request ). I'll be sticking my head in and out of here periodically. What's your favorite John Carpenter film? there's so many good ones it's hard to choose - but i'm particularly partial to escape from new york (i absolutely adore kurt russell in general), they live, and halloween. It is hard to choose. I pretty much love every film Carpenter made in the 70s and 80s. I usually say The Fog is my favorite because I love the atmosphere so much, but all his films with Kurt Russell are great (Big Trouble in Little China is my fave with Kurt). What do you think of QT's Death Proof? Stuntman Mike is my fave Kurt Russell character outside of a Carpenter film. i can't believe i didn't list big trouble in little china - considering that is one of my fav movies all time. my brain must have been malfunctioning. my dad's a truck driver so i always felt a little more invested in jack burton than some of his other characters haha. i also really enjoyed death proof, great film. |
