About me:
Engineer from the Pacific Northwest. I design ASICs used for signal processing for a living.
I also prototype electronics in my spare time. Right now I am working on a fullstack GPS receiver to track C/A code.
Who I'd like to meet:
My friend went through an ICP phase in high school and I wish I could travel back in time to meet him then.

Lol I just read your comment on my blog post (I don’t know how to @ you or something so didn’t comment back there). My friends and I did something similar but much worse to a teacher at our school in 6th grade where we chatted with him via MySpace as like a romantic catfish I still feel awful about it to this day lol I didn’t fully participate but I was a BYSTANDER!!! |

>How is your watch board coming long? I have PCBWAY spinning up 5 units with assembly. Hope to have them in about 15 days. I'll link you once I get a demo video. Really impressed you were able to move away from the OSD chip, that's a huge feat to lay all that out and get it running linux! Once there's a energy sipping, well documented chip, we should talk about a phone (Next year)! We'll make it like an inspector gadget phone! |

Oh wow, that's quite a feat! Did you use the octavo all in one BGA package for the sitara? If you ever pick it up again, I'd love to help. The linux phones on the market right now are too big! I'm a fan of a phone as a tool and not a content consumption device. |

About my project, it's based on a cortex M0 platform with modularity as the main feature. The "Watch" has different baseboards you can swap out with sensors like pulse oximeter, thermal camera module and any other new sensors that seem interesting (It's all about the measurements baby!). |

I like your idea of using the browser in your phone project for the interface, I wish the linux phones were doing just that. Imagine typing in your hostname/sms into a URL bar on your laptop to send and receive texts over the LAN. It's free convergence! What CPU/SOM did you use? |

Neat about ASICs, taking code code to a chip level must be fascinating. Cheers! |
