I like to keep an open mind to a bit of everything. I might need some explanation if its a subject I've never really talked about before but it will be there. |

Music |
The way I describe my taste in music is "a lot of people say 'I like a bit of everything,' I just happen to be right." I know that sounds a bit arrogant but seriously, my collection goes from Kate Miller-Heidke to Merzbow. There isn't any genre I won't try listening to and find something I like in it. |

Movies |
The films of Derek Jarman, Sally Potter, Maya Deren and John Cameron Mitchell are pretty good. I do like more accessible movies on occasion but when I was a filmmaker, those three were who I took the most inspiration from. |

About me:
I'm a big fan of alternative culture, I'm a Non-Binary Transfem and I'm interested in less competitive social media which is why I'm here.
I used to make art but frankly don't have my heart in it as much as I used to. I made films, music, painting and photography. I still occasionally write out some music. I devoted so much time to it that I'm trying to find something new for me to invest time into.
I am also on LiveJournal (also Dreamwidth - honestly, there's not much difference) if anyone is interested in more retro social media sites, (I have linked both). If you want to talk to me more directly, I'm on Skype as "Shadow Bliss".
I am unable to get autoplay to work so just enjoy this music video of a song I wanted on here.

So using Vivaldi has allowed me to slide past YouTube's ads for the longest time, but I think they finally caught on. Ach. I don't really mind the commercials at the beginning or ends of videos.
