About me:
I am an American university student finishing up my Bachelors in History and Art History. I also minored in German, so I have a basic grasp of the language. I intend to go to graduate school and become a historian in the areas of social and cultural history. Until the age of 18, I believed I was destined to become an artist because I was a child art prodigy. I have a twin brother who has always been seen as my smarter counterpart.
I have struggled with dysthymia and intellectual disabilities for my whole life, and I developed a heart condition in college because of untreated anxiety. I identify as disabled and perhaps "mad." I would love to hear experiences from other disabled people on here. I am also a butch lesbian. So friend requests from former/current tomboys, butches, mascs, etc. would be much appreciated.
I tend to be a very anti-social person, and I try to overcome this by learning about the human experience and becoming involved with activism. I love watching movies, reading, playing video games, and basically being a local historian of my state's history. I live in New England (north-east region of the U.S.), and currently work at a labor union. I also worked in an archive for some time, so if anyone is interested in my work feel free to ask.
