Ratmany's Blurbs

About me:

Educator, photographer, digital artist, traveler, a McGuyver of all traits.

Wow, its been quite some time since MySpace, & its about time for a renewal. This is super nostalgic.

I forgot how much I enjoyed working on the profile section, but much time has passed.. I do enjoy the experience in relearning it all over again.

Cool fact, MySpace was the platform in which I met my future wife. (She actually reached out to me, but here we are, married, educators, travelers, weebs, & one kid!)

Another cool fact, my birth date spells out the month, date, and year I was born in. 1982, or 1/9/82.

According to 16Personalities, I'm an "ENFJ-A".

We are a family of weebs, that enjoy & love anime. Heck, in the past, I'm usually the sponsor for the anime club at our school, & have often taken students to "Anime Matsuri".

My Behance Profile

Top favorites include:

GTO, Gintama, Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, Prison School, Konasuba, Grand Blue, Anything from Studio Ghibli, Noragami, Vinland Saga, Kimestu No Yaiba (to name a few)

Currently watching:

Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World

Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season

Jujutsu Kaisen

Black Clover

Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

DanMachi

The Misfit of Demon Academy

Tower of God

Traveling is in our blood & we were slated to return to Japan, to take part in our summer vacation, along with Summer Olympic festivities, but ya know..."Covid".

I've recently gotten into FPV (First Person View) drones, & am currently building my first drone to fly. JohnnyFPV's video got me to transition from a Mavic Pro to the world of FPV. Currently practicing on "LiftOff" with a Taranis 9X Plus Controller.

What would life on the road, traveling, or alone time be, without music. I've recently discovered "Synthwave" & automatically fell in love with it. If you were a kid that grew up in with NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis, Gameboy, the sounds of the synthesizers, paired (if any) with vocals, will instantly bring you back. Current favorites - The Midnight, Robert Parker, Sunset Neon, Dance With The Dead, Leitbur, Carpenter Brut, TimeCop1983, Scandroid, to name a few. I still listen to other genres as well, but like all music...it just depends on my mood.

Who I'd like to meet:

I love meeting folks with a sense of purpose, funny, & from all parts of the globe.

Hey Giovi. I believe my experiences in high school (HSPVA) where I attended for visual arts, along with my enjoyment for all the Arts, especially theatre, made me slowly more of an Extravert than intro. I do enjoy my alone time, but also feed of the energy in a group setting as well. I try to replicate the same energy when I'm also in the classroom, but with Covid, it has made it more challenging & interesting.
To say the least, I'm at the age, where nothing embarrasses, lol.
