Are you an army? thanks for adding! and yes, a fairly new one. a friend got me into kpop in 2012 and i only liked a couple groups but somehow the itch escaped me up until about 2020. cut to now i dove in head first lol. i think being exposed to bts' really basic american marketed music sort of turned me off for a while but i'm glad i didn't let that stop me from checking out the older stuff. by jessthebest(:; ; Report |

It's definitely worth checking out! But only when you have 44 minutes and 44 seconds to get immersed. 'Mystic Familiar' by Dan Deacon was another amazing piece of music, especially "Become a Mountain". I didn't make a list this year and forgot most of what I listened too! haha. What albums were in your top 5? I'd love to check out your recommendations. |

Word up, I'll be sure to check that album out! And I really recommend that Copenhagen set if u haven't seen it!! They play a lot of my fav songs in it & the overall production is amazing. I think they even put that one on DVD. And no, I haven't heard TesseracT but I've heard the name a lot! I'll give them a listen as well! |

Hell yea, I've really been loving that album. I still need to check more solo Clanton stuff but the few tracks I've heard from him are just as good. Love the classic vibes in his music. And no I haven't seen Mew live yet, but it's a huge goal for me. I've watched any and all live stuff I can find from them on youtube & have watched the live in Copenhagen set more times than I can count lol. I guess their And the Glass Handed Kites US shows were cancelled due to covid so hopefully they reschedule them after the pandemic so I have another chance because that's my fav album of their's. I wish they would plan more than a few shows whenever they come to the us tho. Seems like they normally just hit NY & Cali which I am nowhere near either of lol. |
