That's totally fair. I feel like I need to see the actual episode for further clarity, nuance, and context to make a sound judgement. I would get deeper into it but this isn't something I want to expand upon publicly. I just feel like for a historical period piece that is at least trying to be diverse, I can't just write it off bc of that one thing if that makes sense. People of color rarely ever get these chances to be seen in these overwhelmingly white spaces so I feel like I should at least give it a chance. I also feel like the response to it is interesting given the fact that Game Of Thrones/Outland have actual r*pe scenes and there was no TW for that and diveristy is MIGHTY scarce in those so yeah.
