The year I turned 13 I got really into emo music - now as an adult I am getting back into it! My fave then and now is My Chemical Romance. I found out about them after their breakup - I didn't know at first, and it made me so sad, because I thought I'd never get to see them live! So when they got back together again in 2019 I was so excited!! I actually got to see them in 2022 in Stockholm, it was wonderful!!!

I LOVE PHYSICAL DVDS AND BLU-RAY!!

If you read my Books section, you'll see that I am a huge Hunger Games nerd. I am planning on re-watching the original 3 movies since I have now re-read the books! After I have finished reading the first of the two new books, Ballad Of Songbirds, I will watch that movie!!

Television

I love zombie media, and thus I have watched all of The Walking Dead(not the spin-offs, yet), and the korean zombie shows All Of Us Are Dead, and Kingdom. Korean zombies are much scarier than american ones - the american zombies are slow, and decaying, and are at their most dangerous when they sneak up on you. The korean zombies on the other hand are FAST!!! They will sprint at you at full speed! It's terrifying! I would definitely rather be chased by american zombies.

Books

I love fantasy, dystopian and post-apocalyptic books!! I also enjoy reading about cults, I find the pull of them fascinating.

I am currently reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins!! Before that, I re-read the Hunger Games triology. I discovered this series in 2012, sitting in the windowsill full of books on rotation in school. I've loved it since. I am really enjoying this new book so far and I find the world and people in it so interesting!! I would love to discuss this if anyone else is a hunger games nerd.

But I have not finished TBOSAS, and I am yet to read Sunrise On The Reaping, so no spoilers for those, please, other than what we already know from the original triology :) The Ballad is about the tenth hunger games, where a young Coriolanus Snow, before his presidency later in life, becomes one of the first Mentors for a player in the games. It is interesting to see him and all his inner emotions and how they contrast who he will later become. We see a bit of the coldness there will be more of later, but also a surprising amount of sympathy displayed. It makes you wonder how he got to the cold, seemingly emotionless President Snow that considers the games important later on. I was wary of this book at first, but I've actually really liked it so far!! You don't have to ignore all the horrible things he will do to enjoy the book, thankfully. I thought that would be a barrier to enjoying the book, but I was pleasantly surprised.
