Movies

I LOVE MOVIES! Here's a few of my current faves and recent watches: -Sinners! (Saw it twice in theaters already, once in 70mm IMAX! Worth!) -Trainspotting (Strange and surreal, but brilliant!) -Challengers (Amazing direction & cinematography, and that SCORE!) -Star Wars Original Trilogy (Especially ANH and Empire. Perfect movies.) -La La Land (I already love jazz, and Damien Chazelle brings out his own passions through this bittersweet and memorable story. Great music and acting as well.) -JAWS (Ironically a really comfy movie for me. I was scared of it as a kid, but now I love to just put it on to relax.) -28 Days Later (Same director as Trainspotting, but now a zombie movie! Humans are the real monsters but before it was cliche! Also looks like it was shot on a Blackberry! That's cool!) -Speed Racer (This movie was panned upon release, but I've loved it ever since I was a kid. Love the themes, the colors, the driving scenes, the acting, the over-the-top sets. It's all brilliant. Watch this if you haven't given it a fair shake!) -The Lighthouse (Such a good movie, even if you're not into horror. A slow burn and something that really pulls you in.) -Chungking Express (The only Wong Kar-Wai movie I've seen aside from Fallen Angels, but I need to rectify that! He makes great stuff! In the Mood for Love is next!!)

Television

I actually don't watch much television, I find it hard to keep my attention over such a long period of time, especially if the show tends to meander. BUT, I do love some good TV such as these: -Better Call Saul (Actually hits harder than Breaking Bad for me! I love Jimmy's character and the fleshed out world Vince plays with here. Odenkirk deserved the Emmy!) -Breaking Bad (Still an incredible series that does not miss. Generational show.) -The Mandalorian Season 1 (Season 1 was a masterclass, but the show fell off pretty hard afterwards unfortunately. Season 2 was alright, but beyond that I've lost all interest.) -Andor (I'm not done with this yet so no spoilers please, but it's amazing! The best TV I've seen in a long time!) -Soul Eater (I LOVE this anime! Such a great vibe and doesn't overstay its welcome. I've heard the manga has a different ending, though, so I'd like to read it!) -Avatar: The Last Airbender (What is there to say about this show that hasn't been said already?)
