General

Things that are probably bad for me (smoking, drinking), things that are definitely good for me (Queen, drumming), and things that are somewhere in between (debating the merits of various types of scotch).

Music

My music taste is a reflection of my chaotic life, a little bit of glam rock excess (Queen, GnR), a touch of 80s nostalgia (Bon Jovi), and a whole lot of introspective chill (bedroom pop). Basically, it's a soundtrack to my questionable life choices.

Movies

My favorite movies are "The Dirt" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." They're basically cautionary tales about the dangers of excess... but also really, really entertaining. So yeah, I've probably watched them way too many times.

Television

I watch "My Little Pony" all the time. It's my favorite show. It's got great characters, fun storylines, and beautiful animation. It's just a really feel-good show, and I need that sometimes.

Books

I've read "Flowers for Algernon" probably five or six times, and it's still my favorite book. It's a really well-written story, and it's made me think about a lot of different things. It's just a really good book, and I always enjoy rereading it.

Heroes

Rockstars have always been a big influence on me. I love their music, obviously, but it's more than that. It's their whole attitude, their confidence, their creativity...it's all inspiring.
