lolita by vladimir nabokov is my go-to. it’s controversial, sure, but the writing is genius. every time i read it, i catch something new, and i’m all about books that make me think. i love that complexity !!!!!!!!

hm.. honestly, i don’t do the whole “hero” thing. everyone’s got their flaws, so putting someone on a pedestal just doesn’t make sense to me. i’d rather figure things out on my own
