About me:
Violent Faces began to exist in 2010 in Conegliano Veneto (TV), when guitarist Rusty Ramone joined the project founded by singer/bassist Johnny Venom a year earlier. The line-up then stabilized in February 2011 with the entry of Lucky King as a drummer.
In March 2011 their only album, "8 Ball", was released on their label VF's Records, presented the previous week during the very first concert which took place in Goriza on March 16th (with F.T.T.V.: and Rottosauri).
After six months of intense live activity, Johnny took the solo guitar role and they become a quartet after bassist Mighy The Strange from T.B.C. (To Be Continued) joined the band.
During the year their songs were included in six different compilations and more, as in the case of "Give Me Your Time", chosen by "All You Need Is Punk" official website as homepage autoplaying soundtrack for many years.
Between November and December 2011 there was a momentary changing, collaborating with Marky Suicide (guitarist of Anomic Suicide) on drums.
Then, on May 2012 in full economic crisis, the band broke up and Johnny and Rusty came back to their original country, Sardinia Island (about a month earlier, already aware of their destiny, they published "I Don't Care!" EP with six cover songs of The Scoundrels, their previous punk band, plus a new song, "Conegliano's Burning").
The two friends tried to keep the band's flame alive by founding a new project that took the historic name and they hired bassist Dany Mask and drummer Ivan Liz. The last live dates back to the night of Halloween in 2012.
Subsequently the various members have played in various musical projects and are currently scattered in Piedmont, Sardinia, Veneto, Friuli and Germany the main reason why in recent years it has been difficult to organize a single reunion.
Starting from 2024, Johnny and Rusty began to plan the re-foundation of the band despite the logistical problems due to their living distance, but today thanks to technology many difficulties are overcome and the two musicians are already working on new pieces.
