About me:

Shalom! Steve here. I like to say that I make the internet pretty. A critic once said that I subtly obsess over specificity. I tell my kids that I want to be a rock star when I grow up.

My band, Steve Chab Band, plays poetic indie emo rock music. Melancholic, catchy melodies, heart-on-sleeve, 90s-sounding tunes with a touch of unexpected twists and turns.

Last year, we released our debut album, Broken Images, and I put together a hand-painted lyric chapbook to go with it.

I grew up in the MySpace era, so I’m here for the nostalgia, the weirdness, and the community. If you’re into weird , artsy, and heartfelt music, say hey!

I’d love to meet fellow musicians, artists, and poets — people called to create. Fans of emo, post-hardcore, and anything poetic and raw.
