a certified, homegrown emo kid with a taste that spans from disney channel bangers to the grunge forefathers and riot grrl mothers. went straight from 90s grunge to 2000s emo, then i fell into the metal and hardcore scene. i can listen to anything from the early 1990s to the mid-2010s, really. catch me openly stanning nirvana, alice in chains, soundgarden, all time low, lady gaga as the gays should, thursday, motion city soundtrack, and the 48723948372 others i blare through my car speakers. i will always be crying to counterparts or movements. don't ask. play them at my funeral. dispense my ashes via hasboro elefun into a pit for counterparts or movements. will also request to take my corpse to shake ass at any kublai khan tx set. get down and bust brains at knocked loose for me. i'm too old to now.

Movies

not a movie, but the 2018 production of angels in america with andrew garfield as prior is phenomenal don't have the attention to sit through many movies anymore, much less the time anymore lol. john carpenter's halloween is my comfrt halloween movie.

Books

i have an english degree, and i can list what i don't like easier lmao official fahrenheit 451-style-firefighter of t.s. eliot poetry collections. they do not exist; not in my norton anthologies, not in my notes for literally any of the literature classes i have taken, nowhere. the academic canon no longer needs to make room to accommodate those who upheld the Imperialist Machine. the problems with fanfiction aren't deep enough for y'all to look down on it so much; let people find ways to start writing, and worry about it when they verge into actual problematic territory.

Heroes

there are no heroes humanity is imperfect and creating false idols out of other people leads to disaster at the end of the day, you save yourself. life isn't worth living for heroes; it's worth living for the small moments of beauty that always appear in times of utmost tragedy.
