same!! it hasn't been long, more like i started looking for more old old (like gen 1) songs late last year, but for around 1-3 years i have liked stuff from late gen 2 - gen 3. it just hits different compared to whatever late gen 4 groups r doing now (some songs r good, but some is just wtf especially from 2022).

YOU KNOW WHAT I FEEL THE SAME TOO!! I worship kpop song from first until third gen. But for the fourth gen... Not so much... Only a few like NewJeans attention&hurt and fifty fifty cupid because the whole cute vibes. Other than that I'm very much uninformed for current gen. Plus I'm not good at remembering peculiar/quirky group names. Not hating on 4th gen but not my taste

so true ... groups that debuted 2021-2022 r kinda iffy except newjeans' attention and ive's love dive (for me at least) there's probs other songs but I can't think of them off of the top of my head. groups from 2020 that i stan r secret number and cignature but they r smaller and not well known. other groups that r super popular from 2020 r the same as the 2021-2022 ones. gen 4 from b4 2020 (e.g. itzy who i also stan lol) still give off late gen 3 vibes so i like them. why is gen 4 so confusing... in a matter for 4 ish years kpop went really bad and thats coming from someone who only found k-pop in 2017 which is pretty early considering the kpop i listen to came out b4 i was born and when i was a kid soz for the gen 4 rant lol

Itzy's - Dalla Dalla was the best if not the most iconic debut song of all time!! Itzy was the last group that I'm very aware of as they debuted before pandemic. After the pandemic my kpop dictionary of rookie groups was very veryyyy outdated
