The Constellarium's Interests

General	The main goal of this community is to bring people together to create and share. Be kind and patient with everyone you meet!
Music	Starborns are mostly based on the concepts of nebulas (and partially black holes). They're sentient galaxies that take the form of creatures, from tiny mice to mighty dragons, to create their own identity based on the stardust they're formed from. Their names are often based on their colors, then they change their physical form to what they feel fits themselves; EX. Salmon Philly Roll Starborn may be named after their orange, green, and white colors- then they shift their form to whatever creature suits them (and it doesn't have to be a salmon!) Google deep-sky astrophotography and that's where this started.
Movies	The "Constellarium" is the main cave Starborns reside in. It was made based on Minecraft lush caves, especially the concept of glowing fruits and plants thriving beneath the surface. It's also partially based on Sculk- fun fact! Sculk is most likely based on glowworms in real life appearance-wise.

Welcome to The Constellarium's spacehey page! This is a page for the Starborn species, an original species for pony.town. At some point in the future when I have the resources, Starborns will reach beyond pony.town as it's own seperate species! For now, this game is where the species will reside. ALL links can be found at the bottom of the page!

A full guide to the species is available in the Discord server! Joining is required to make a verified Starborn, as this species is mostly dependant on the community and collaboration. The species was made to bring people together.

The constellarium is a deep cave system stretching miles. The floor is a mixture of dirt and stone, where moss coats most of the ground beneath the Starborns' paws and claws. Some trees sproud from the dirt, some trunks twisted and gnarled, others curved in odd ways to touch the ground again. A lot of the fruits from these odd plants glow or blend in with the surroundings - odd diamond shaped pear-like fruits hidden in silver drooping leaves, or golden glowing berries growing in clusters on low-hanging vines reaching down from the very top of the constellarium.

Some arches of the odd twisted trees are used as arches for doorways, blending Starborns' burrows into the cave further, while helping them stand out enough for fellow Starborns to find. Starborns set up stalls to barter and trade their items, from gems to fruits to crafts, although many will just share if asked nicely. Starborns rely on their connections with one another, burrowing in groups and traveling together to remain safe.

Sometimes, there's subspecies that've developed their own parts deeper in the caverns. Moonborns are a little more dim, but they form clubs and mini communities surrounding a Starborn or two that keep them safe. They match together and work better together than others, understanding each other on a closer level. It doesn't mean they wont mix with other groups, though, Moonborns just rely on Starborns more.
