Music

I mostly like industrial, punk, and post-punk music, although I do listen to other genres as well. Some specific people/bands I listen to are the Misfits, Crystal Castles, And One, Jazmin Bean, Molchat Doma, Dead Kennedys, Moon Walker, Björk, Bad Religion, and a local musician in my area called Jay Veil. Movies

I really liked the movie Cabaret from 1972 which is about the lives of people working at or attending a place called the Kit Kat Club in Berlin during the rise of the Nazis. I also watched the 1993 performance with Alan Cumming which I liked even more, but I still think both are great in their own ways. I also enjoy horror movies. I watched the Purge series a while back and really enjoyed it, but I'm still trying to look for more scary or disturbing movies to watch. I'm also planning on watching the Hunger Games movies after I finish reading the books.

Television

I watched the first season of Stranger Things and I really enjoyed it. I haven't gotten very far in the series though yet so sometime soon I should pick it back up. I sometimes watch Krapopolis on Hulu which is about this guy named Tyrannis who's the king of a city in Ancient Greece, and his weird family of his goddess mother, manticore father, and fish brother and cyclops sister. I also watched the first part of the Blood-C series on Hulu which is about this girl named Saya fighting these monsters called Elder Bairns, but then there's a twist at the end. I also watched Serial Experiments Lain on YouTube which I enjoyed despite not really fully understanding it, but basically what I got is that after a girl named Lain's classmate commits suicide she becomes obsessed with computers and the concept of the wired, basically the internet, and has an identity crisis as she loses herself in the wired. I also started watching the Purge series, but never got around to finishing it even though I enjoyed it so maybe I'll do that sometime. I'm also planning to watch the Handmaids Tale series on Hulu soon.

Books

I used to have "I’m illiterate." here, but I actually read now! Hooray for me! I finished the first Hunger Games book in August after a friend recommended it to me and I loved it. It genuinely might be one of my favorite book series right now and I'm excited to read the next one and to watch the movie.
