It is but I'm thankful that as time goes on, some people are learning not to keep that perception. It breaks my heart when I think of people in the past who were mistreated due to their skin color, or even for loving the "wrong" gender. Many losing their jobs or being exiled from their families in the process. |

I don't blame you; you shouldn't have to. My mom is very religious but her and I have come to an understanding when it comes to religion, thankfully and she's not pushy with me. Her side is old fashioned Italian and race has always been more the taboo thing in the older family members. She dated a black man for the first time and her sister cried (º_•) It's so strange me to because I'm mixed (Ecuadorian) lol |

Very much agreed!! I think it's great that even being brought up one way, you still have that outlook. Some parts of my family are more "old fashioned" than the others, so I always had a weird mix around me while growing up. |

As far as shows go, it honestly depends on my mood. lol I JUST started the OA and found it very interesting. More recent shows have been Sabrina, Ratched and Schitt's Creek. Schitt's Creek is great if you need a pick me up and laugh. |
