Hey, I’m Sam!

I’m a 44-year-old guy from central Pennsylvania who still swears the 80s and 90s were humanity’s golden age (fight me on that, but I’ll probably win). I grew up in the era of dial-up, mixtapes, IRC chats, and GeoCities pages with way too many gifs — and yes, Tom was my very first friend. RIP Tom’s angsty top 8 drama, but he set the standard for online friendships.

By day, I wrangle cyber threats as a cybersecurity engineer. By night (and most weekends), I’m:

• 🎸 Strumming acoustic covers of 80s & 90s gems around State College (yes, I’ll play Wonderwall if you insist).
• 👾 Building strange little worlds — writing stories, crafting Roblox horrors, or putting quirky games up on Steam.
• 📼 Living in nostalgia — MST3K marathons, VHS tapes, old commercials, or anything pre-WiFi (1981–1999 was peak culture).

My playlists are controlled chaos: one minute Bach, the next Alestorm, then Christopher Cross sneaks in with a sax solo smooth enough to make you question reality.

When I’m not working or creating, I’m hanging out with my girlfriend and son — both saints for tolerating my rants about how “movies were just better in the 80s.” Spoiler: they were.
